How much homework do Eastern kids have to do? What type of homework? Thanks.
It evolves over time. In 6th, it is a lot of story graphing in English, quarterly projects in Humanities, written responses in the Literature in Media class, and smaller work products in Media. 7th grade moves away from story graphing, and the magnet subjects converge to prepare kids for their IHD projects, plus a short documentary being prepared in Media. 8th grade has quarterly projects in English, plus the CSPAN documentary in Semester 1 and a capstone documentary in Semester 2. I might be missing some stuff, as that is based on my memory as a parent. There is also, of course, homework in non-magnet classes particularly math and science.
