I am very upset the principal didn't notify parents about the robbery in the school until it went public.

Not to derail this thread, but I'm surprised by this take.  For a LONG time I have been vocally unsatisfied with the communication coming out of MCPS on a variety of topics.  But I have been pleasantly surprised with the emails Principal Deeny has been sending related to these incidents.  They are timely, clear, and comprehensive.  What is it you think was missing?  You think you should have received an email regarding an arrest directly from the school before the police announced is publicly?[/quote]
