[/quote] In 10 years my DCPS child has been assigned books about many amazing people MLK, Jackie Robinson, Cesar Chavez, Malala, RBG, etc. but they’ve never once been assigned a book about a white man. Not an inventor, astronaut, politician, military leader, etc. And the summer reading lists are completely devoid of books about white men. It’s just really….odd. [/quote]
