But the coach and the other parents are the issue. [/quote] the coach knows his team best. He likely has a core group of kids that he's had for years. He needs to ensure that they have balanced play time between them. My DS' team is like that. I'd be annoyed if our core team that's been playing together for years got bumped because a new kid wanted to try his hand. You can join a team in rec. It's open to all levels. You don't get to hand select the team that you want if there is no space[/quote]
