I’m not sure how a Republican that repudiated Trump’s Presidential ambition is relevant. He was re-elected by large margins and has extremely large favorability in the state, which means that he’s widely popular with Democrats.

Hogan will never be president.

The rest of the country has no idea who he is.

Well serves the Silver Springers right if Moore turns out to be more centrist.  They played dirty pool and basically nixed Kelly Schultz’s bid (she was the moderate heir apparent to Hogan). Dems gave bucks to Maga nut Cox ensuring he had a cake walk.  First on Moore’s agenda - crush the Blueprint.  It will be spun as a give-away to teachers unions.  They are clearly boogeymen in any National race.
And Maga controls the party he is not MAGA.

Exactly. I’ve got no qualms with Hogan. Did a good job. Strong record on the economy. Promoted a lot of popular policies, like removal of tolls on the Bay Bridge and planning for another span that Marylanders support in huge percentages, but Democrats would never do. He also did a lot to tamp down on Democratic excesses in Annapolis. The combination was a winning formula for the state of Maryland, which is probably why Massachusetts also frequently has Republican governors. I voted for Moore because he was the most pro-business/moderate of the candidates and would be more than willing to vote for a Republican if they were in the mould of a Hogan.[/quote][/quote]
