I don't get why people care so much about admissions rate. It's a factor of marketing, nothing else. What matters is what you learn once you get there and does that lead to the job opportunities you want. My son is at VT in a different major with a >80% acceptance rate where graduates are in great demand. The major has kind of a weird name and flies under the radar. Which is great for DS -- smaller classes and great opportunities. [/quote]
