And they opted to bleed the school that drives most of the economy of the town of vast punitive as well as compensatory damages.    And now they're a beloved cause of stupid "it's blacks who are really the racists" RWNJs across the country.  That's not a reason to avoid Oberlin. For many it's a reason to avoid Gibson's.[/quote]

Please provide proof of this accusation.   Multiple local townspeople and employees, who were POC, testified in court to the contrary.   Are you saying all those people are liars that perjured themselves?[/quote]

The social medial posts of the guy who tackled the student were sealed and not admitted at the trial because they were deemed prejudicial   When they were unsealed, they contains such lovely statements as “not my fault all black people in this area suck”.  This was before the incident.  So was “if these lazy ***** want to start work, they could earn their own money”.  And— people call me racist all the time. “100% of those people deserve to die. **** them all to he11”.

How about  “slavery has been around since before we were a country” followed by a nice rant about racism again him as a white male and poor black people deserve to be that way.

Sounds like he was in fact a bit of a racist, no?
