I worked for a man who did this. He said he was aware it might backfire, but it was worth the risk. His hot wife is still with him 16 years later. She is way out of his league. It's not even close. But he is very smart and funny. And he made 150k a year then and took care of her while she went to school etc. They have two beautiful children and are very happy.

That's you. For some women,, a man's physical attractiveness is low on the list if he is smart and funny. It works for them.

OP might be that lucky. He needs to decide if it's worth the risk of getting his heart broken.
