Despite the Census laws defining Maryland as a Southern Atlantic state - the vast majority of Marylanders consider themselves to be living in a northern state. Politically, Maryland has much more in common with New England mindsets than southern states. [/quote] Just curious, what’s your evidence that most Marylanders consider themselves northerners? In my own experience, most I know don’t identify with either the north or the south.[/quote]
