[/quote] I'm also in my mid 50s and struggling to understand how a meal of heavy apps would leave you hungry. All they are is a bite size portion of a larger dish. You are supposed to eat more of them. And, bruschetta wouldn't be the only thing provided. Do you only eat the garlic bread when you're at an Italian restaurant? No, you don't.
