I am an earlier poster who has a large woalknin shower with multiple heads. Kids bathrooms have tubs, for bathing them when younger. Out of curiosity, who are all you people who like to soak? Doesnt the water get gross and your skin get all wrinkled and then dried out? And how long do you sit in it? It doesn't it get cold?
Op here and want to add- dont you all work full time with kids? HOW DO YOU FIND THE TIME FOR BATHS? Am I the only failure in this chat?
I'm one of the tub-required people. I have kids; that's *why* I'm a tub-required person. Hour-long soaks after my kids go to bed (usually only on weekends because my 3yo doesn't go to bed until late when she naps at daycare) is basically my only version of self-care. Yes, my skin gets wrinkly (although never dry; not sure why baths would cause that) and eventually the water gets cold, at which point I either get out to refresh with hot water. The time to unwind and keep myself off screens is so deeply worth it nonetheless. The baths aren't for washing (I shower regularly too) so I don't worry about the water getting gross.
Me too. I light candles, put on a sheet mask, and chill with a book
