NP.  It isn't a matter of smart but rather a true 6th sense that you listen and heed.  I have always had this and when I follow it then life is fine.  If, however, I think that I want to do it my way, it can be a disaster.

Sixth sense? No. People who grew up in dysfunctional families often become adept at reading other's emotions and body language as it was necessary for survival. They are hyper focused on the subtle nuances people show in their expressions, body placement etc. It's no different than people who are trained professionally to read body language. Most people do not focus on others at all when they are talking and miss obvious signals.

There are many studies about this. The studies showed the more confident the individual was in their ability to discern the truth, the less adept they are at it.

No, you're nuts if you're the poster who can read things about someone by the sound of the voice. Of course the way a person talks might give away some basic info about education but anything more and you are deluding yourself.[/quote]
