This probably isn't going on with Jessica, but my pregnant diet sucked and it wasn't because I felt I had license to eat crap. It was because I could barely keep food down for a good portion of my pregnancy and the only things that DID stay down were "bad foods." It was maddening when at one point the doctors told me to eat whatever I wanted because I'd lost so much weight at the beginning and then at the end was told not to eat the only foods that I could force down my throat without gagging because they were too sugary/carb filled and would "make the baby too big." I really just couldn't win. I was trying to just eat anything I could keep down, and I feel like maybe I should have just let them feed me through IVs for 9 months straight since what I was able to eat just wasn't good enough. So, I'm just saying try not to judge some women's pregnancy diets too harshly - you never know what they might be dealing with.
Really, it's not an attack on you. I'm sorry you went through that and hope you don't feel guilty about it - it must have been rough. She has been pretty up front about feeling great pregnant, her amazing orgasms, and her diet. She has been eating a lot of different kinds of crap, and butter and poptarts are not because she can't keep anything down. I agree there are legit reasons to not have a great diet in pregnancy but I don't think anyone has to eat processed crap for 9 months.
I knew it wasn't an attack on me, and I did clarify that I didn't think this was happening to Jessica. I just wanted to throw out there that while it is always best to not eat crappy food and use pregnancy as an excuse for that, there are actually women who struggle to eat at all and may only be able to stomach things that they know are not so great for them. Trust me, living in just noodles for months on end is NO ONES idea of fun or healthy eating.
