My son really liked Purdue and the out of state cost was about $5k more a year at the time and was worth it for us.  He also benefited when they did not raise tuition for the entire time attended.

Similarly, [b]WM is the most expensive state school[/b], but you keep the tUition you go in with, even if it’s raised for future classes. Very nice, when my other kids is goIng up 2-3% a Year. [/quote]

Actually depends on the school chosen at UVA. W&M tuition and fees about $24k.
At UVA:
A&S: Y1 and 2=$18k; 3 and 4=$21k
Commerce and Public Polcy: Y3 and 4=$29k
Engineering: Y1-4=$28k, $27k, $26k, $24k[/quote]
