Sure, he's not behind the increase nationally, but that doesn't mean he can't do things to stop it locally. Imagine if you applied this logic to other issues: "Sexual assaults are up across the country, it makes no sense to teach our boys about consent when its a national problem" "Climate change is occurring across the globe. Why should we use green technology when its a national and global problem" Yeah, sure, crime is up across the country. But we should still try to stop it locally[/quote]
