Absolutely agree with this.

Style-wise I wanted a low sectional with deep seat, but after trying out several realized they weren't right for me. They were too soft, offered no support and were awkward to get out of since the seats were deep and low to the ground. (I also have lower back issues.)

Soon began to realize the ones that worked for me had webbing suspension (not springs) and cushions with a high resiliency foam core wrapped in poly-fiber or down. Randomly checked out Room and Board one day and immediately felt like Goldilocks when sitting on the sofa I eventually purchased. [/quote]

Vela sofa - tuxedo style with a thick bench cushion. It feels like sitting on a twin mattress that's supportive/somewhat firm with a nice top layer of cushy/comfort. The Cade sofa at R&B and the Emmy at DWR were also very similar in feel  - both also had the webbing suspension + HR foam core. Highly recommend to try any of these, or similar, if you have back issues. Ultimately I went with Vela because couldn't justify the Emmy price tag and there was a longer wait at the time for the Cade.
