It was painful to watch. [twitter]https://twitter.com/ClayTravis/status/1585064485756489729?s=20&t=qS2VS3Y3kje5dFCcDcAGQQ[/twitter]
It was no where near as bad as these people on twitter are making it out to be Yes he stumbled a little more than the average politician during a debate but all things considered having had a stroke not long ago he did really well Nonetheless no I wouldn’t vote for him at this time. Having a stroke has physical and cognitive side effects. It is possible that with the passage of time both improve but it’s not a given. There is also quite a bit of follow up medical appts and monitoring. And once a person has a stroke they are far more likely to suffer another. He needs to put time and effort into healing and that is where his energy will eventually be needed. He can continue to push himself but he will likely burn out it worse suffer another stroke. I know someone who struggled with aphasia after a stroke. It took a few months to get back to a level where he didn’t have to struggle for the most common words and about a year out, he only struggled if he became very tired. It didn’t go away completely it just improved.
