He's an R and could only with in blue MD with a lot of D votes. He also has the highest approval rating of any governor in the country. The library in Bethesda is named for Connie Morella -- a Republican who represented the area in Congress for many years. Republicans can get elected in MD. It's not easy, but it happens, and they do it with votes from Democrats.[/quote]
