This.  The county/MCPS have shown not to be forward thinking on building additional schools, it’s not even on their radar until the kids are overflowing in portables.  The most pro-Thrive/Riemer voters I know are either childless or have kids in high school/college and wouldn’t be affected by the influx of additional students into our neighborhood schools. They just think it will give them a coffee shop to walk to or something.[/quote]
I understand that now that Riemer is out of public office, he is going to start sending his kids to private school. He spends 12 years on the Council destroying schools and then takes his kids out of MCPS as soon as he can.[/quote]
