Once John Poole gets changed, I’m sure their will be pressure to change Poolesville too.  If you are against the renaming and you speak about it publicly you could lose your job etc. You can’t win unless you are pro naming a school after a person who is part of a minority group.

A lot of this is absurd.

Poolesville HS isn't really named after Poole. It's named after the town, which is named after the Poole brothers (John and Joseph), according to Wiki. I don't see the HS name changing, even eventually.

Richard Montgomery didn't own the slaves. His wife's family did. I do think this name will change because he's guilty by association.

Montgomery Blair.... Sigh. I would not be surprised if this name changes because people are idiots.
