To add to madness somehow I got assigned a deadbeat in HR system I was told to fire him next week.

Seems crazy but years ago I got laid off but had to lay off someone myself earlier in the day.

Got to love corporate America.

I rather negotiate an exit or very least allowed to resign with a few weeks notice. Maybe resign with Nov 1 last day. Extends my medical/dental coverage into month of November. Not a big ask. Only 3 weeks.

I accepted my new job today with 20k raise and a small sign on bonus that already did background checks. So not too nervous on call.
