I take her to my kids soccer practice and walk her while they practice. When waiting for practice to finish, I stand off to the side and away from any sidewalks/walking paths. When walking with her, I move out of the way of others or have her sit while other people pass. She has lived in the city and suburbs. She is mouthy when people enter our house due to excitement/anxiety (typical of her breed) but has been trained to go get a stuffy when someone comes into the house which keeps her mouth occupied. If she needs to go out she comes and lays her head on your hand or knee. If she is ignored, she will lick once.

Owning dogs is a two-way street. You need to learn your specific dog and their needs.
