Where? The area is zoned for 1 sfh/5 acres for environmental reasons. Because of its location right in/next to the Clifton area, The Occoquan watershed is very adversely affected by development. That is where your drinking water comes from. So, while most people who live in Clifton are truly insufferable, there is nowhere else there to build in a manner that wont adversely effect the environment.[/quote]

Just curious, exactly why would it be good idea to overdevelop an area that already doesn’t have the infrastructure to support the cut through traffic it currently has?  Why must everything be developed and all look the same? There is no public transportation or access to shopping centers and people who live there like the rural feel. [/quote]

We are in a housing crisis in this area, especially an AFFORDABLE crisis. We should be doing everything in our power to deal with this swiftly and that means moving away from SFH to multi-family housing in the form of low rise apartments.[/quote]
