Joftus' wife on the Kid Museum board should have been reason enough to either not award 4 million dollars of federal covid money to kid museum, or Joftus should never have been appointed (not voted in) into Pat's vacant position.  4 million should have been enough funding for every age-eligible child in MCPS to receive an annual pass (without a discount), so where did all the money go?

People need to wake up and realize what's going on here.  There is no way I will vote for any of these BOE incumbents ever again.[/quote]

My problem here isn’t so much with Joftus but MCPS spending federal Covid money on stuff like this when there are so many pressing needs. The bocce ball sets are a drop in the bucket compared to this.  I don’t really understand the people at MCPS who make these terrible decisions- are they corrupt or just so lazy and unimaginative to come up with better ways to spend the money?[/quote]
