[/quote] That is it in a nutshell right there. Wages are driven by supply and demand. The hospital isn't going to pay you more because they don't have to. They can replace you with another nurse willing to do the job for what they are offering. In areas with nursing shortages, the pay for nurses is increasing significantly.[/quote]
