Glad you made your decision OP! I don't think you could have gone wrong either way. Cabin John has one of the strongest cohorts in Montgomery County and I think that based on data we've seen released changes are good that it's even stronger than TPMS due to how the lottery process works. [/quote]

The top 15 students in CJMS could defeat the bottom 50 students easily.  As for math contest, TPMS has up hand because Ms. M leads and cultivates math talents rigorously with her expertises, which no other teacher in mcps could match.  In other MS in MCPS, most of math teams are led by parents who have little no no background in GT math education.  TPMS has lost science bowl championship many time during past 5-10 years.[/quote]
