Think about it ... Cap Blue 24s and 25s are top 10 teams (pretty typical for Cap Blue during fresh and soph years). They consistently play other top ten teams and are in all the big tournaments. The same college coaches go to all top ten games. The big difference between Capital and the Md teams is that Capital gives equal playing time. There are talented players on Hero's, Sky and M&D who don't start and don't receive the same exposure as the starters do (for the 23s some MD club bench players committed to the same schools as Cap Orange players did). Md club recruiting favors the starters which is why you see those players going to the better / higher ranked schools. So it's not a stretch at all to think MD club players who aren't seeing the field very much would want to try out for Capital. They would get way more time / tournament exposure and, based on Cap Blue's recruiting history, would quickly increase their odds of going to a higher academic (if they have the grades) or higher lax program by making the switch.
