Yeah, this principal is in for a rude awakening. She has yet to encounter the overwhelming entitlement of some parents. Dealing with the challenges of poverty is way easier and more satisfying than managing parents who demand a meeting every 10 minutes because their child’s teacher didn’t email them back within ab hour. I would not be surprised if she’s back in FCPS or retiring in a year or so. [/quote]

It’s really not a good look that you prefer poor families for not having the time and other resources to pay close attention to their child’s education. Especially, when we know how important parental involvement is to success.
