Hi! Would love a reading. Pondering leaving stability of the DC burbs and re-settling in a new, big city. What do the cards say?
Hello! Intuitively I feel there is a very balanced pro and con list and that either choice is a good choice. I'm not really feeling pulled in either direction and that may be because you are feeling the balanced nature of this decision as well. I will say that if you do choose big city, you should live in or on the edge of the city proper and not the suburbs. The cards I pulled were Financial and Material Changes, Transformation, The Cicada (metamorphosis), the tarot cards The King of Swords in reverse, the Queen of Wands, and the 4 of Pentacles. The three oracle cards are suggesting to me that a change may be good for you. Just make sure that your finances are in order and that you will be able to live as well as, if not better, than you are now without stretching yourselves thin to make this move. With the 4 or Pentacles, should you make the move, stay financially prudent for at least the first year until you are solidly settled. That way if it doesn't work out, you can figure out your next steps. It feels a move would be transformative in some way and that you may be able to be more comfortable expressing yourself and feeling more free to be who you are. The only thing holding you back is overthinking the situation. Change can be scary, but it can also bring things more beautiful than you could have imagined. Try to shift your perspective to look at what you could gain from a move and less on what could go wrong. I hope this resonates!
