Even in Maryland, it’s good to have burgers and plenty of sides. In any group there will be some people who don’t care for crabs at all and some people who will just have one and want something else. This is good because it balances your people who eat like 8 crabs.
Burgers?! The extras are fried chicken, corn on the cob and coleslaw. If the crabs are decent size and we have no teens, we usually do 3 per person, but it really depends on your crowd. I eat 1 typically while my teens est 6-8.
1? Why bother?
I know. It’s pitiful, but in my old age I’m just not so hungry anymore. 1 fried chicken thigh, 1 crab (plus quite a bit of melted butter with lemon), 1 corn on the cob, a little coleslaw and I’m done. Could eat 5-6 large back in the day.
