Need 2 spots for PS3: WL #400s for Haynes WL #13 for CCPCS Waiting on LAMB, MV, and DC Bilingual, but not holding my breath.
Did you consider applying to IT, Appletree or Bridges? I see you probably prefer bilingual, but you also had Haynes and CCPCS. Maybe to increase your odds as PS3 can be tough. Guess it's too late (for IT/Appletree, not Bridges) now, but just curious.
Not sure what IT is? I'm a new transplant to the area (moved from SF in January) and applied to about 15 schools, but those are my top choices, after Stokes. Applied to Bridges, Appletree, CAPCS Butler, Meridian, Doar, Hope, Bethune, Roots. I'm bummed that I did not know that I had to apply for the DCPS lottery also. Thought it was a given that they would get in if needed.
There are always spots available in DC PS for PreK and PreS - the issue is that the spaces may not be asy for you. Call DCPS and see what they can recommend for you. At a minimum, they will put you on the waitlist if it is reasonable that you might clear it.
