I think the school closures were horrible, and my impression is that the County has been totally dismissive and tone deaf with regards to addressing needs other than the prevention of COVID. There are a lot of services that are STILL virtual, and a lot of county employees that serve the public that are working from home a lot and not answering their phones. While I'd rather this response to COVID than COVID denial or anti-vaxxers, I think there is a lot to criticize.

So with that context in mind, would you feel comfortable sharing an example of the flippant response? I don't doubt that it happened - I'm just actually curious and think they should be held accountable, because now everyone is supposedly dedicated to keeping schools open and determined to make sure people forget that they worked so hard to keep schools closed.[/quote]
