Sounds great. I really want to check out Block Island for a week, but our extended family insists on having nearby activities for the kid (putt putt, shops, boardwalk, etc).

I'm raising my kid to just enjoy the land and nature, no need to have all that extraneous crap.

I know you said Block Island is getting "too crowded," but I imagine it can't be worse than the Cape, OBX, MD/DE beaches, etc - right?

We recently started going to the Little Compton area of RI and it was divine. The only issue there is beach access - it's tightly controlled by neighborhood and even road.[/quote]
