PP to whom you're responding. "Psych" name-drops and makes fun of "The Mentalist" quite a few times in later seasons! The concepts were similar, one a comedic take and the other more serious, but since "Psych" was around first (started its run two years earlier), the show enjoyed poking at "The Mentalist." I've never seen the latter, mostly because I figure I would have a hard time taking it seriously after watching "Psych" mock it (affectionately), but I'll absolutely give it a try. Thanks! Simon Baker is, indeed, fantastic. It's a really good show. I've heard good things about "Psych," I've just never got around to it but will now. Simon Baker is also amazing in "Margin Call"--that movie is soooo good, and I think it's on Netflix right now.[/quote]
