Sorry, But am voting Republican. Dems have not fixed border issue, economy is in the crapper, gas prices are higher than ever with NO plan to fix them. No thanks.
Economy is cyclical. If you have a GOP plan, I'll be happy to take a look at it. I have not seen any. GOP did not fix the border issue either.
At least GOP wants to fix the border. Biden administration says it is “secure.”
Oh, very happy to see what they did during 2016-2020. Other than build useless pieces of wall that enriched their friends.
Biden doesn’t want to close the border. Trump did. DeSantis WILL.
When did Trump close the border?
Trump didn’t close the border. Idiot and brainwashed Fox idiots think he did.
FTR, I’m a lifelong Dem. You can compare #s of immigrants who crossed under Trump vs Biden. While trump didn’t 100% close it, the #s decreased dramatically under Trump and then jumped once Biden took office and started rolling back Trump policy. That’s a fact. The #s of kids and adults entering each week are available online. Google MPP/ Remain in Mexico.
Why do people care so much about this? I honestly don't see how it affects you at. all. Except that you enjoy remarkably affordable landscaping, housecleaning and childcare.
Check your privilege. I live in a solidly middle-class neighborhood and the influx of undocumented immigrants has changed our neighborhood completely over the past 25 years. It affects my family’s life on a daily basis - schools, illegal rentals in the neighborhood, uninsured drivers, etc. It may not affect your life (except for your cheap labor source) but for some middle-class Americans, it has had a strong effect on our lives. Democrats are really weird. For reasons I don’t understand they keep downplaying this illegal immigration stuff. It’s really bizarre. In part it’s due to lumping people as a group. For whatever reason for example they can’t understand for example why one can be Latino and also not so sympathetic to illegal immigrants. My guess is that the core democratic donor base is not affected on a day to day base by this.
