[/quote] You can read to babies at home, there's no benefit to sitting on the floor with an infant in your lap during storytime. Mobile toddlers who aren't speaking yet (most of the time) don't have the focus to sit on their butts and listen to a full story. Once they're at least 18-24 months, they are more capable of sitting still and listening. I thought we were talking about 2-4, for goodness sake![/quote] FFS some kids have language delays.
