I deliver misplaced packages from time to time.  I leave it at the correct house.  I do not have a conversation about it.  Sounds like you walked a few houses down.  The address was a typo. It happens.  I would not even have rung the bell.  It just a courtesy. Vyou are not a hero.[/quote]

No one knew "the Smiths." I looked for 2 days. Seriously.

I'm not a hero, but I'm not going to go out of my way to find something.

Also, if you're ordering something that's valuable, double check the address. FedEx delivered it to the right address. FedEx didn't GAF that "The Smiths" are at a different house.[/quote]
