I say all this to say: it’s possible your husband is hearing good things about special programs and applying them to the whole school. If that’s the case, and you don’t get into the special programs, you’re going to be very unhappy. [/quote]

At the same time, you have a much higher chance of getting into these programs if your children are in Takoma than anywhere else in Moco. Further, these schools also offer enrichment in math, engineering, and programming courses which aren't offered at other MCPS schools to everyone.[/quote]
