I am required to be tested 48-72 hours before my scheduled surgery. I also must go to the hospital to be tested.[/quote] Then the most reasonable solution is for you to take a leave of absence now to ensure you can fully isolate and be 100% assured you don’t get Covid. You’re not at 0 risk otherwise, even if kids are testing. And again, you’re an outlier. It makes much more sense to make accommodations to allow you to isolate vs keeping symptom free kids out of school for a week. [/quote]
