Literally nothing said before this post contradicts this. Nothing matters more to republicans than party loyalty and identity. Dead children, be damned.

One thing republicans have in common is that they can’t understand anything until they go through it themselves.  They can’t tolerate abortion until their daughter needs one. They can’t stand interracial marriage until their niece marries a “nice black guy”.  Healthcare isn’t a right until they lose their insurance. Unemployment is an “entitlement” until they lose their jobs.  Everyone else is lazy, irresponsible, and looking for a handout, but they and their families are deserving and they are an exception.

Perhaps some of these right wingers can serve oranges to their kids this weekend and subtly hold an orange up to their child’s head or trunk. Any “MoDeRaTeS” who read this next paragraph can too. See how big an orange is next to your child’s tiny, fragile body.
