I met my much younger fwb through a hobby related group. I genuinely like him as a person but the age/life stage difference means a relationship is completely off the table. Fortunately neither of us are really inclined towards jealousy and we’re able to have a non-exclusive but mutually satisfying fwb relationship
I'm at the point I'd just like a FWB and it doesn't have to be a relationship - so I wouldn't be jealous of his seeing other people. My only concern is STDs. Full stop. Do you discuss this? Or always use protection?
Poster w/ the FWB and FB—we always use protection. There was one guy I was in more of a situation ship w/ and we stopped because we weren’t sleeping with anyone else during pandemic lockdown
So no oral? Or do you use protection for oral too? Because both of those options sound really unsatisfying.
I don’t usually use protection for oral, but have sometimes. Yet, no STDs! We discuss testing/history.
"we always use protection." ok, so that was a lie.
So, what is your point? Doesn't change anything..... Still never so much as a cold sore. But carry on.
Many infections can be silent for a very long time. Before I was married, I always asked: When was the last time you were tested, what were you tested for, and what were the results. No one had a problem swapping images of results. If they’d never been tested or it’d been over half a year, oral sex was out unless they were ok with a condom. If they had negative results and tested within six months I’d give oral without a condom, but finishing had to be by hand. No ejaculation in the mouth does reduce the chances of some infections for the giver. Condoms always for PIV. I got tested annually, which meant both a blood test and vaginal swab, and then I’d test in between for those that can be tested by blood only. This is a good site to have as a resource. https://smartsexresource.com/about-stis/know-your-chances-0
