Are you telling me FCPS is spending precious school dollars paying for "covid case managers" at individual schools? That's insane. What purpose do they serve at this point? [/quote]

Our school hired a part-time covid case manager to handle the increased number of students who are out with covid.  Previously the principal was doing it - with the addition of the case manager, the principal could focus on her job instead of handling the covid students too.[/quote]

What's there to "handle"?

All the money spent on these case managers could have been used for tutoring, something actually beneficial to students.[/quote]

It never would have gone there.  Administrators as a self-interested class are hoarders.  They find ways to keep the money from trickling down.[/quote]
