Agree with this- I actually like Robert White as a person as he does seem more genuine and empathetic than the current administration but feel that his campaign has tracked too far in the Janeese Lewis George / Charles Allen direction for me to be able to vote for him. I’ll be begrudgingly voting Bowser again and hope he does come back in 4 years with a little more common sense baked into his strategy.[/quote]

Me too.  I don't agree with everything she does/ votes for but I like that she takes the time to listen to constituents and evaluate different points of view.  She is more of a legislator than a politician which is really nice.

I can't quite get a read on Robert White but agree with the posters that say that he seems less old school DC with tit-for-tat than Bowser does.  I do also agree that his views on school opening were much more extreme than I would have liked- but I also think Bowser and her admin patted themselves on the back wayyyy too early with the "DCPS is open" messaging.  I know many kids that never got to go back all last year even thought they wanted so all the half assed reopening did was give her political points without doing the work to actually get all kids back in person.[/quote]
