Riemer is having a tantrum over the Sierra Club’s decision to endorse Blair. I wonder if Riemer thought the Sierra Club’s endorsement was in the bag or if he knows that the endorsement was necessary to create a pathway for him to win. The decent thing would be for Riemer to drop out and clear the field for Blair.
I suspect the Sierra Club's decision is not decisive but is an extra boost to Blair that really doesn't help Riemer. Anyway if you are paying attention you wouldn't want any incumbent in office. They're all terrible. I don't know that new people are any better but these fools' political philosophy is rule by Twitter. Maybe Blair has a backbone, I don't know, but Riemer sure AF does not.
This is correct. Riemer will do anything for attention but doesn’t actually care about outcomes. It’s actually quite disturbing when it comes down to real issues. Local politics have a much more direct impact on the quality of peoples lives. We cannot afford to have people like that in local government. If he’s intent on staying in politics, his preening incompetence is more appropriate for the Assembly. I wouldn’t suggest Congress because he’s not competent enough (or maybe he’s just doesn’t care enough) to have effective constituent service.
