Sounds like he is not (or you both are not) that good with money.  No one smart borrows seven figures to buy a business earning $100K per year; you can just build one of those in 2-3 years with zero debt.[/quote]

The business made a lot more than that. I’m taking about what we pulled out after debt service and reinvestment. And really it was probably more like $200k many years. We did very well. We paid off the seven figure loan quickly.[/quote]
