[u]As long as you are doing it right, you do not void the warranty.[/u] Warranties are voided when damage is the result of improper repair or maintenance (a simple example: you use the wrong type of oil, or you dump the oil and don't replace it). Personally, I buy my own oil and filter, bring it to an independent mechanic I trust, and just pay for the labor. It's about $30 for the labor. Your car takes mobil 1 fully synthetic 0w-20. You can get a five qt jug for about $30 at Walmart. I would buy one additional quart, because sometimes european cars take six quarts. I like Mann filters. I buy them on Amazon for $10-$15.[/quote]
