I don't hear any howling from the Democrats when Disney removes diversity from its movie content to make sure it can make profits in China.  Either Disney has a stance or it doesn't. Which is it?  [/quote]
DP.. the US isn't China, though.  To do business in a different country, you have to follow their laws, and that may include their "decency" laws.  Just like when Chinese businesses want to do business in the US, they have to follow our laws, like bribery laws, which can be culturally accepted in China.

Also, unlike China, the US has  freedom of speech, which includes companies (per SCOTUS).  This is purely a retaliatory move by Desantis to appease his base.  And it's also extremely hypocritical since Rs decry "cancel culture", which this move is basically about.[/quote]
