Curious, did your son visit during the Rice Owl Day last week? Mine did and was turned off by how quiet the campus was. Not a lot of happy looking students. Wondering if you visited at a different time (when maybe things were more lively on campus)? My son's visit was underwhelming and took Rice from #1 to probably a no. I am considering a follow up visit in case the day we visited was an anomaly. So much to love about Rice, I don't want him to say no based on one bad visit.  Please let me know your thoughts.
