In terms of being bored, aren't the vast majority of 2nd graders bored in school? I know tons of parents who described their kids that way in 2nd grade whose kids did not get in. They stopped being bored in 3rd grade. 3rd grade is a big step up academically even if your kid is not in AAP so don't stress if he does not get in. [/quote]
