I obviously wouldn’t do something  like this to begin with, but if I somehow got caught up in it, I would have given up so much earlier. Like all I’d think about, all day every day, would be about how if I just told the truth and gave it all up, losing the company and my money and my religion would be totally worth the sweet release of not having to be afraid it’s about to happen 24/7.

And she was so young too. She could have told her board and investors “the tech isn’t there, it’s not getting there,” let it all implode, gone back to live with her parents for a bit, and then become a Pilates instructor or whatever. [/quote]
